Two men are walking through a freshly plowed field that used to be an orange grove. Both are savvy businessman but one is a dreamer, a visionary the other is a very practical business guy.
As they walk the dreamer is telling his friend this will go here, that will go there. There will be a parade and fireworks every night. Families will come from all over the world just to see what I’m going to build here. And he tells his friend, “If you will buy up the land around this orange grove, you’ll recoup your investment 100 times over within two years.”
That dreamer was Walt Disney and the practical businessman was Art Linkletter and he said no to buying up the land around what was to become Disneyland in Orange County, California. A decision he regrets today.
I once read that if Walt Disney’s advisors were unanimously against one of his ideas he would enthusiastically begin working on it right away. Walt Disney knew not to follow the herd.
Back in May of 2009 I unveiled Prosperity Tag to a few people I respect and trust. Two of them saw great potential, one of them wanted to make it into a paid for system, another said I think you’ve got something here … but.
Most of the people I showed it to warned me to, “Stop Trying to Reinvent the Wheel” a.k.a. “The Herd Knows Best”
Let the Herd hide in the bushes and watch; today, I give up my position in the herd. I’m striking out on my own, following my bliss … Prosperity Tag.

My Buddy
As I walk “Luke the Wonder Dog” I record my thoughts using a digital voice recorder. It’s a good habit to get into. A better ha
bit is to transcribe those recordings asap. What I’ve posted here today is just a small part of the notes I’ve made since I started Prosperity Tag. I really enjoy this format.
I think I’d be more active on Twitter if I didn’t have to keep a thought to 140 characters.

My commitment is to simplicity for Prosperity Tag. I don’t see me creating any replicated web sites now or in the future.
Each Prosperity Tagger should have his/her own blog (using your own name i.e. joeblow.com or joe-blow.com etc. not to promote Prosperity Tag but to promote themselves and have a place where your PT candidates can come and learn about you.
One post or page could be dedicated to PT and how you are growing your team. The rest should be about you and your interests…who you are as a person…people join people…let’em know you.

Replicated web sites are the MLM equivalent of welfare. They give people a smoochy, warm, comfortable feeling that they are being successful in business. In 12 Step jargon the people who sell these sites are called enablers, they perpetuate the welfare mindset.
The people who buy them have the mistaken belief that swarms of prospects will converge on their web site any minute…because it has all those bells and whistles and flashy things. Personally I think those replicated sites keep most people from doing the business. However they are good for the upline sponsor because it keeps “the needy” on the books longer than they would have been had they not had this misdirection. I bought into this sleight-of-hand for many years.

In this pay plan you can put someone under someone anywhere in your downline to reward them for good work but never put someone under someone to motivate them to do something. That’s called welfare.
(Where else on the internet can you find such great writing?)
Whenever you do something for someone that they are capable of doing for themselves, you chip away at their self-esteem. Low self-esteem is one reason our welfare system is as huge as it is.
Don’t create that on your Prosperity Tag Team.

You don’t have to learn a new profession to get started, in fact everything you need to know you learned in kindergarten. Remember that book?
Remember getting your friends together for a game of tag? “Hey, you wanna play tag?” You already have a Degree in Prosperity Tag and you didn’t even know it.
You’ll learn everything you need to know about the company and the products over time. You don’t need to know everything to start, just go out and tag people and use the products.
You’ll like some of them and you’ll tell people about them. You won’t like others and you’ll keep those secret. Just like everything else in life, you recommend what you like and you don’t recommend what you don’t like. Simple!
This is not about creating a retail empire. We all want some customers but if you really want the “All Expenses Paid Vacation” and other incentives, a retail empire is a tough row to hoe.

This is about everybody doing a little and leveraging off everybody you bring in. How different is that from any other business? An employer hires people…leveraging off them. The difference is that the employer pays people for the privilege of leveraging off them. Leverage is what makes owning a business so attractive.
In network marketing you don’t have employees and you still use the principal of leverage. It’s the intelligent pursuit of self interest.

My company offers us the opportunity to travel the world and to play with the people you tag and do it on the company’s dime.
And by golly that’s what I’m going to do.
That’s what motivates me and if you want to do that too, start tagging people. They will either catch the dream or they won’t. Don’t waste your time on the people who can’t see the dream for themselves.
Maybe they’ll come around…maybe not…it’s their call.

Prosperity Tag was born out of necessity. I’m 61 years old and I’ve been working since I was 16 I am tired of working right now and I just want to play.
I don’t want to go back to school to learn a new profession. I wanted something that was fun and simple and Prosperity Tag is that.
Prosperity Tag can be a blast if we just get our egos out of the picture and let that “inner kid” out to play. There’s kid wanting to play in all of us. IMHO
